Is it just a buzz word or will some of the web 2.0 companies generate real business? The development of web 2.0 related ventures is somehow comparable with the “old” time (1998-2000). I think it will be very interesting to observe this cluster in order to figure out if and how each particular business-case will work. Some of them are already generating revenues but some of them are still trying to define their business model. The future will tell whether its hype or reality. check it out: www.go2web20.net

Is web 2.0 an evil hype or covers it promising new technologies? Since I’ve wrote about this, there is still some controversial discussion about it. I think it’s both, it implies really new innovations like social web, Ajax and community generated content, and it generates hype too. But we all have learned enough from dying dot.com’s in 2001, didn’t we? That time we’ll make it better.
